Experience as a basketball Coach is appreciated, along with the ability to work effectively with athletes of various backgrounds and skills. Coach Assistants support the Coach in all aspects of our basketball program, including on-court coaching, player development, scouting, and administrative tasks. They have a considerable contribution to the development of players' basketball skills, teamwork, and overall athletic performance, so experience is welcome. Main job requirements include assisting with practice planning, game preparation, and player development while fostering a positive and competitive environment. Good communication skills will make acting as a liaison between players, the Coach, parents, and the athletic director an easy task. Staff members in our Academy are vital to the daily operations because they support both the coaching and administrative aspects of the basketball program. Ideal staff members are passionate about basketball and youth development, with a desire to contribute to the success of athletes both on and off the court. Staff members assist coaches during training sessions and help manage events. They create and maintain a positive and professional environment for all Academy members, players, and parents. Upon joining as a Classroom Aide, you'll help student-athletes stay focused on their academic responsibilities while at The PAC. This role is not a teaching position; the Classroom Aide is responsible for ensuring students are logged in to their accredited online charter school, are working, and stay on task throughout the day when they are not in training. Even if this role is not a teaching position, experience working with youth is preferred, especially in educational, athletic, or mentorship settings. You'll also need strong interpersonal and communication skills to motivate students and redirect them when they are off-task. Responsibilities include:
